Studio Kids Summer Class Preview! (Scroll all the way down)


Weekly Workshops!
Mondays: Needle Felting Circle, $5, 1:00-4:00

Join us for our Needle Felting Circle! Circles are where you can come together with others while working on your own project. Socialize, get ideas, and have fun! For circle sessions, you will bring your own supplies and project to work on.
Tuesdays: Zentangle Circle, $5, 1:00-4:00
Some Tuesdays have a formal Tangle Tuesday class.
Circle will not be held on those days.

Join us for our Zentangle Circle! Circles are where you can come together with others while working on your own project. Socialize, get ideas, and have fun! For circle sessions, you will bring your own supplies and project to work on.
Wednesday: Waldorf Wednesday, FREE, 10:00-12:00

Wednesday mornings in the Studio we will be working on hand-made prizes for the Eugene Waldorf School's annual faires. If you are interested in learning simple handwork techniques and creating beautiful felt toys for children, please feel free to join us.

All materials provided, and all items created will be donated to the Eugene Waldorf School. You are welcome to make copies of the patterns used to take home.
Thursdays: Make and Take, $5, 1:00-4:00

Every Thursday from 1:00 - 4:00, we'll have a Make and Take project all setup and ready to go. This is a drop in session, so you don't need to sign up. The cost will be $5. Everything will be supplied - you don't need to bring a thing!

Each week's project will be different! Join us to find out what we're making this week!
Fridays: Scrapbook Circle, $5, 1:00-4:00

Join us for our Scrapbook Circle! Circles are where you can come together with others while working on your own project. Socialize, get ideas, and have fun! For circle sessions, you will bring your own supplies and project to work on.

These are beautifully designed top quality stamps and dies that are truly a joy to use.

Each month Heartfelt Creations debuts a brand new line of designs - and they have approved us for their Launch Party program!

What does this mean for you?

Each month, we'll create 2-3 samples using the brand new designs.

When you sign up and attend the launch party you'll get all the supplies and instructions you need to make those projects. You'll be able to use the stamps and dies in class AND, you can stamp and cut as many as you like!

These parties will be really fun - we hope you join us to try out these beautiful products!

Please Bring: tape runner, foam dots, glue dots, small scissors, liquid adhesive. Please bring if you have it: manual die cut machine, flower shaping tools

Tanglescapes: A Zentangle Class

In this Zentangled Inspired Art class, you will learn new tangles that resemble landscape elements: water, mountains, trees and sunshine.

Tangles to Color: A Zentangle Class

Zentangle is calming. Coloring is calming. Double your relaxation and double your fun by drawing patterns with the Zentangle technique, then coloring them with your favorite medium.

We will tangle several patterns onto either watercolor paper, or Copic paper, your choice. Options and ideas for coloring your designs at home will be presented.

Please Bring: Black Micron 05 pen (01 is ok, too, but you may want to make bolder lines) or, Copic multiliner (.5) if working on Copic paper

Tangle Tuesday!!

Tangle Tuesday is a great way to add to your personal tangle library!

Each class will focus on classic tangling with an emphasis on a Zentangle technique or concept. Zentangle experience is recommended, but not required.

Let's Get Messy with Backgrounds

In this class we will be using a special coated paper to make many double sided book weight backgrounds with lots of swirls of color!

These backgrounds will fold cleanly and can be used as pages for books, cards, mixed media and more.

We will play with paints, inks, stains, stencils, and more!

Please Bring: Baby wipes, acrylic block, spray bottle, distress ink applicator & heat gun if you have them. Gloves and apron recommended.

Layered Lego Album!

This layered Lego scrapbook album is the perfect place to hold memories of your favorite Lego freak!

The album will have lots of Legos to design the pages and decorate your project. Master builders and beginners welcome.

This will be precut - just like the bricks - some assembly required.

Altered Book/Art Journal Technique: Lacy Pages

Eileen Hull is an artist, author, product designer and adventurer. She designs for Sizzix and Clearsnap inks. Four years ago, Eileen purchased a vintage trailer, Scotty, on eBay and outfitted it as a mobile art studio. Since then she has traveled cross-country on the Paper Trail, teaching classes and sharing her inspiration!

We're very excited to be hosting Eileen for a class in our Studio!

Join us to create a Faux Metal Art Journal with embossed cover using unexpected materials! You will create an 8 3/4” x 4 1/2” Journal with two insert books. Learn tips and tricks for assembling the Journal plus some easy and impressive mixed media techniques using inks to decorate in your favorite color.

The Journal is held together with elastic bands, making it possible to easily insert and remove books as you journal and create. You will learn three ways to make professional looking insert books, how to tea-dye paper, and create a sturdy insert folder that holds tickets, photos, clips and extra accessories.

Take your new book home and fill it with doodles, journaling or whatever you’d like!

Please feel free to bring your cameras and see lots of samples created by Eileen’s amazing Inspiration Team and hear about her adventures!

Slumber Party Crop
October 13-15, $90


We're turning five and we're throwing ourselves a slumber party crop!

Bring all your stuff and settle in for the whole weekend! No need to pack up each day - the Studio is your home till the end!

We'll have catered meals and other yummy food on hand all weekend!

This is an open work session for any type of project. Bring your stuff, grab a table, and work away! Jammies encouraged!

Class Policies:

  • We encourage pre-payment for every class so that we are able to adequatley prepare and gather materials.

  • Some classes require pre-payment to reserve your spot.

  • If you cancel three business days prior to the class, we will issue either a refund or store credit whichever you prefer.

  • Classes cancelled with less than three business days notice will receive a store credit.

  • If you are cancelling with less than 24 hours notice - a refund is not possible. If the class lends itself to allowing a kit for the project - a kit will be provided. If a kit is provided, we will hold your kit for one week after the class.

  • If you are sick or there is an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible.
